Primary care staff across each borough will be able to access your full medical record without consent during the COVID-19 pandemic but will only do so when this is necessary to provide you with care. They will be required to use a smartcard which confirms their identity, and which limits their access and actions to those appropriate for their role. They will all have been trained to understand their professional and legal responsibilities in providing you with care
STOPTOBER is the 28 day stop smoking campaign from Public Health England to try and encourage smokers to quit smoking for a month. It's the biggest mass quit attempt in the country and is based on research that shows that if you can stop smoking for a month, you are five times more likely to stay smoke free in the long term.
If you are a smoker why not take part in the 28 day STOPTOBER challenge this October? The best way for you to successfully quit is to see a specialist stop smoking advisor to get the help and support that you need. The practice offers this service so please call us on 02070305171 to arrange your free appointment.
The Patient Participation Group (PPG) meets three or four times a year, and it is designed for patients and surgery staff to discuss how services should be provided by the practice. It is not a forum to air personal grievances, but it does help the surgery to understand what it does well and areas where it needs to improve. If meetings are not for you, you can become part of our Virtual PPG where we email you three or four times a year with minutes of the PPG meetings and occasionally ask you to complete a survey about our services.
If you are willing to join the PPG or our Virtual PPG, or if you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com There is a dedicated PPG page on our website at http://www.victoriagp.com/ppg.aspx?t=1
